EARTH: Frank Castle becomes Captain America

Frank Castle is chosen to become Captain America after Steve Rogers is badly injured and John Jameson, Bob Diamond, Doc Samson and Kyle Richmond all prove unequal to the task. Frank continues his activities as the Punisher until Steve Rogers, now a cyborg, convinces him to embrace the mantle of Captain America while Steve takes on a new identity as The Captain.
