EARTH: Watchmen

A world where costumed vigilantes emerged in the mid-20th century and profoundly altered the course of history, including the outcome of the Vietnam War. Most heroes have since retired or been outlawed under the Keene Act, leaving only government-sanctioned Dr. Manhattan, the only hero with actual superpowers, and the Comedian still operating officially. When the Comedian is murdered, the masked vigilante Rorschach begins investigating a possible conspiracy against former heroes. Characters from this world have crossed over to Earth: DCnU.
