EARTH: Mappo makes anthropomorphic animal soldiers

A future world where the Mappo corporation created Elephantmen, genetically engineered human-animal hybrid soldiers built for war in Africa. Following a global backlash, the surviving Elephantmen were released into human society, struggling to integrate into society. Hip Flask, a hippopotamus-human hybrid and former soldier, works as a private investigator in Los Angeles. He has met both Judge Dredd and the Strontium Dogs.
