EARTH: The Coffin

A world where Dr. Ashar Ahmad, a scientist obsessed with proving the physical existence of the soul, creates an impenetrable cybernetic suit capable of trapping the soul after the body inside has died. After being fatally wounded, he climbs into his own prototype and survives, neither truly dead nor alive. A corporate empire called Hellertech wants the technology, and has kidnapped his daughter to get it. The Coffin was questioned by investigators from the Powers universe when a version of Madman was found dead.
