EARTH: Gravity Falls

A world where the small Oregon town of Gravity Falls has the unusual distinction of being a place where every paranormal theory, cryptid sighting, and supernatural tall tale turns out to be more or less accurate. Gravity Falls sits in a valley where the laws of reality are somewhat loosely enforced, and the local wildlife includes gnomes, shapeshifters, and things that don't have names yet but probably should. The town's primary tourist attraction is the Mystery Shack, a ramshackle museum of fake oddities operated by one Stanford "Grunkle Stan" Pines, whose studied indifference to the genuine strangeness surrounding him is either a remarkable act of denial or a very long con. Gravity Falls has come to the attention of Bill Cipher, a one-eyed dream demon from the nightmare realm whose ambitions extend well past the town limits and who should not, under any circumstances, be engaged in conversation.
