Evil can hunt during the day

A possible future of the Earth: Buffy where magic has drained from the world and vampires have evolved the ability to hunt in daylight. Buffy Summers, now an old woman, is the last surviving Slayer. She takes on a young Watcher named Thessaly and attempts to pass on what she knows before the darkness wins entirely.
