Vampires are superheroes

A world where vampires and other supernatural creatures live hidden among humanity, an arrangement enforced by a mysterious agency called the Takers who come for any creature exposed by humans. A group of vampires, including this world's Dracula, runs a diner called the All-Nighter, open only from sunset to sunrise, until Alex, bored with immortality and inspired by superhero movies, decides to become a costumed vigilante and draws his fellow staff into the same life. This world also contains an alternate version of Frankenstein's monster, who sprang into existence when Mary Shelley's novel became popular and has his own implanted memories of a life he never lived.
